Responsibilities

1. Prepare and bake donuts, pastries, and other baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards.
2. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately to ensure consistent taste, texture, and appearance.
3. Prepare dough, batters, fillings, glazes, icings, and toppings as needed.
4. Operate baking equipment, mixers, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently.
5. Monitor baking and frying times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistent results.
6. Decorate, glaze, fill, and finish donuts and other products according to shop standards.
7. Prepare daily batches of baked goods based on customer demand and production schedules.
8. Check the freshness, appearance, and quality of ingredients and finished products.
9. Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
10. Monitor ingredient inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking area throughout the workday.
12. Clean and sanitize baking equipment, utensils, worktables, countertops, and food preparation areas.
13. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
14. Minimize food waste by measuring ingredients carefully and managing production efficiently.
15. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the shop is properly stocked and ready for business.
16. Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing ingredients and cleaning the kitchen.
17. Follow company policies, recipes, and procedures to maintain product consistency and quality.

 

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a baker, donut maker, pastry cook, or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient measurements, dough preparation, and food handling is a plus.
3. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and consistency.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
6. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper ingredient storage practices.
7. Ability to operate or learn to operate mixers, ovens, fryers, and other baking equipment.
8. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to work well with a team.
9. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
10. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry baking ingredients and supplies.
11. Willingness to perform cleaning and other kitchen duties as part of daily responsibilities.
12. A positive attitude and a genuine interest in preparing fresh, high-quality baked goods.

8. Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
9. Check and replenish inventory levels of essential items for the next business day.

14. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a streak-free and polished appearance.
15. Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.

 

Requirements:
